PARK RIDGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A Park Ridge high school senior scores the touchdown of a lifetime.

It didn't register on the scoreboard, but it meant so much more.

Dodging defenders with his teammates blocking, Matt Gray scored his first touchdown ever at homecoming ceremonies Friday night.

Gray was born with Down syndrome. He's served as the team's manager.

Park Ridge was playing against Wood Ridge. The score was pre-arranged with the team.
