10/18 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

The sun will be shining and our temps will be soaring this afternoon! And because we'll be running nearly 20° above normal, don't be surprised if we see some tied and even broken records around the area! Highs will be a touch warmer than yesterday, in the low 80s.

It will be another mild one tonight under mainly clear skies. There could be a shower N&W, but they'll likely dry out as they approach. Temps will only fall into the upper 60s by daybreak.

A cold front will slowly approach tomorrow, but there's very little moisture associated with this one. And despite some added cloud cover, we'll still manage to climb to around 80° -- keep the summer wear handy!

As for Thursday, we're leaving in a shower chance for now. Expect cooler highs in the low 70s.
