Police: Man Trying To Sell Unauthorized Ferry Tickets Punches Person In Face

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say an unauthorized agent tried to sell a family tickets to see the Statue of Liberty, but when the family refused, he allegedly punched one of them in the face.

Andre Morris, 33, of the Bronx, approached the family on South Street around 12:10 p.m. Saturday.

When the family declined his offer, Morris became agitated and punched one of them in the face, police said. 

Morris was charged with assault.
