3 Men Shot, Wounded Outside North Patchogue Nightclub

NORTH PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island were investigating Sunday after three men were shot and wounded outside a nightclub in North Patchogue.

The men were standing outside the V.I.P. Lounge, at 620 Waverly Ave. in North Patchogue, around 2:45 a.m., Suffolk County police said.

One 23-year-old Medford man was taken by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook for multiple gunshot wounds, police said. A 30-year-old Central Islip man and a 19-year-old Medford man were taken in private vehicles to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue for gunshot wounds to the leg, police said.

Police continued to investigate Sunday afternoon. Anyone with information was asked to call the Suffolk County police Fifth Squad at (631) 854-8852 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 220-TIPS.
