Police Looking For Man Wanted In Daylight Bronx Burglary

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a man wanted for a burglary that occurred in the Bronx Monday morning.

According to police, the suspect entered a 22-year-old male victim's apartment, in the vicinity of Minerva Place, through the kitchen window around 9:30am.

Once inside, the individual took more than $2,800 worth of electronic equipment including a computer, a house phone, and two video game consoles.

Police say the individual is a black male, approximately 30-years-old, 5'8"-6'0" tall, with a light complexion and medium build.

The male can be seen in surveillance photos wearing a blue jacket with jeans and a black skull cap.
