New York City Drivers Say Traffic Is Worst It's Been In 15 Years

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Between Trump Tower security, holiday shoppers, construction and tourists, New York City drivers are dealing with traffic headaches this holiday season.

One livery driver told 1010 WINS' Glen Schuck he has to come through the city everyday, it's unavoidable.

He, and other drivers, said the traffic is the worst it's been in 15 years.

"People getting caught in the box, traffic, construction, everything," he said. "Traffic all over."

He said Wednesday is gridlock day, and it takes him more than 30 minutes to drive a three-block stretch.
