Police: 3 Teens Steal Cell Phone From 17-Year-Old In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to identify three individuals accused of robbing a 17-year-old boy at a subway station in the Bronx earlier this month.

Police say three males, believed to be between 17 and 18 years old, approached the teen as he was leaving the East Tremont/Grand Concourse subway station in Mount Hope and demanded his valuables.

According to police, the teen handed over his cell phone, but another in the group then gave it back.

The first individual then grabbed the phone from the teen once again, before the group fled the scene.

The NYPD says the incident happened on Dec. 5 at around 5:40 p.m.
