2-Year-Old Girl Falls Out Of Second-Floor Window In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A 2-year-old girl is hospitalized in serious, but stable condition after falling out a window in Queens Friday morning.
The incident took place at around 10:45 a.m. at 23rd Avenue near 124th Street in College Point, according to the Fire Department.
The girl's grandfather said the child had been playing on the bed when she fell out of a second-floor window, 15 feet to the granite steps below.
The child was conscious when emergency responders arrived on the scene and was taken to the hospital with facial injuries, according to police.
A neighbor said he saw the girl was bleeding from the face and crying, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.
No criminality is suspected, police said.
