Giant Amtrak Board Being Removed At Penn Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The giant Amtrak train departure board at Penn Station is fading into history.

Crews will begin dismantling the 10-foot high overhead board Monday night.

Dozens of smaller video screens will be installed throughout the station.

The move is aimed at easing crowding in the center of the waiting area, especially during peak commuting hours.
