Yonkers Deli Owner Shot In Leg Was Not Intended Target, Police Say

YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- The owner of a Yonkers deli was shot in the leg Friday night.

The 46-year-old man was inside his store on Vineyard Avenue when a bullet came through a window and struck him in the leg, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Police said the victim was not the intended target, and the investigation is ongoing.
