VIDEO: Amtrak Train Showers Commuters With Snow In Dutchess County

RHINECLIFF, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Some rail commuters in Dutchess County may have thought they were safe from the snow while standing on a platform, but that was until an Amtrak train plowed through.

Video posted online Wednesday shows the train push an avalanche of snow up and off the tracks and onto passengers in Rhinecliff.

Nobody got hurt.

One man said many passengers boarded the train looking like "little frosty ice men."

The tracks were covered in snow from Tuesday's winter storm that dumped more than a foot to as much as 41 inches of snow in some areas across New York state.
