Fire Breaks Out In Basement, Shoots From Cellar Doors In Hell's Kitchen
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Flames were seen shooting up from beneath sidewalk cellar doors overnight, when a fire broke out in a Hell's Kitchen basement.
The fire was reported early Sunday in the basement at 818 Tenth Ave., according to the FDNY.
A photo from the scene showed flames shooting from the cellar doors on the sidewalk next to Mamasita's Bar & Grill.
The fire was later brought under control. There were no injuries reported.
