Best Of Mike & Mad Dog: Red Sox Beat Yankees In 2004 ALCS
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Oct. 20, 2004, was a dark day for Yankees fans.
That was the day the Boston Red Sox completed the once-unthinkable comeback from a 3-0 deficit to win the ALCS over the Bronx Bombers.

Of course, it was a scorching hot topic on Mike and the Mad Dog's show the next day.
"That was a mugging with an audience," Francesa, a Yankees fan, said of Boston's 10-3 victory in Game 7. "That was a disaster.
"The stadium seemed to change with each out from blue to red, and it seemed like with each out, the Red Sox fan was somehow multiplying before my eyes in the stadium. Next thing, I know we're in Fenway Park in the eighth inning."
