LIRR Service Restored Following Earlier Suspension Between Atlantic Terminal And Jamaica
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Long Island Rail Road service is back on track after being suspended due to a disabled train at Atlantic Terminal.
Service was restored shortly after noon on Tuesday. Earlier, service was suspended in both directions between Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica.
The LIRR said New York City transit is continuing to cross-honor fares via the 2/3 subway lines in both directions between Atlantic Terminal and Penn Station.
