2 Found Dead In Apparent Shooting At Roselle Home

ROSELLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Emergency responders are on the scene of an apparent double shooting in Roselle Tuesday afternoon.

Initial information indicates two bodies were found outside a home on Chestnut Street near 9th Street.

The Union County Prosecutors Office later said they believed there is no present danger to the community. As CBS2's Tony Aiello reported, the homicide task force was on the scene.

Chopper 2 was over the scene on Tuesday afternoon, and observed two bodies on a driveway under white sheets.

The neighborhood is one of modest, but well kept one and two family homes. It is less than a block from a playground, and from the Abraham Clark Football Field where young men were practicing.
