Fire Strikes Home In New Brunswick, New Jersey

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A fire broke out overnight at a home in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The blaze started shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday on the first floor before spreading to the second.

A vehicle belonging to an occupant of the home was in the driveway, which has led to concerns the person might be inside, but so far there’s only a report of a minor injury to a firefighter.

No word on the cause. Firefighters are investigating.
