Amtrak Lifting Speed Restrictions At Penn Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Amtrak has lifted the temporary speed restrictions for trains heading into Penn Station.
The maximum speed is returning to 15 miles per hour, which is up from 10. The trains were slowed during ongoing track maintenance.
Rail lines blamed the reduced speed limit for causing delays.
