NYPD Officer Accidentally Shoots Himself In Leg
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An undercover NYPD officer was recovering Friday night after he accidentally shot himself during a traffic stop.
It around 4 p.m. in the Longwood section of the Bronx.
Police said the narcotics officer was walking up to a car with his service revolver in hand when he tripped and shot himself in the leg.
He was being treated at Lincoln Hospital.
