MASTIC, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Long Island.
The single engine ultralight plane was about to land at Brookhaven Airport around 8 p.m. Sunday, when the pilot said the engine lost power.
The plane coasted into the tree tops and then came to rest in a wooded area in Mastic.
The pilot, 45-year-old Yuri Koziy of Massapequa, was not injured.
