NYPD Officer Injured In Jamaica, Queens Crash
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An NYPD officer was injured while on duty in a car crash in Jamaica, Queens, police said.
The crash happened at 112-18 178th St., police told CBS2.
Two severely damaged cars were visible at the scene.
It was not clear as of 5:15 p.m. how exactly the crash happened or if the officer was inside or outside the car.
Police said the officer was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
