JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Firefighters are battling an extra-alarm blaze in Jersey City.

The flames broke out around 5 p.m. Friday at a building on JFK Boulevard near Fifth Avenue.

The two-story building houses a deli on the first floor and what appear to be apartments on the second.

There is also an automotive shop nearby.

There are no reports of injuries.
