Several Hurt In Early Morning Queens Fire
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Several people were hurt after a fire broke out in Queens early Friday morning.
The blaze started around 3:30 a.m. at a home on 147th Street in Jamaica, but was under control about an hour later.
Five people who were inside had to be rescued and are now being treated at a hospital. Five firefighters also suffered minor injuries.
The Red Cross is helping the home's residents.
