Dramatic Rescue On Bear Mountain Caught On Video

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD's Aviation Unit rescued a hiker when he started having heart problems in Westchester County.

The 59-year-old man had a cardiac emergency on Bear Mountain just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Rescuers secured the man on a backboard and airlifted him to Westchester County Medical Center.

The man is expected to survive.
