Barclays Center security and the NYPD worked to disperse the crowd, the statement said.

The doors to the Barclays Center were also closed and no one else was allowed in.

"They closed the doors when I got there around 7:15, there was bottles being thrown and mace being sprayed everywhere," ticketholder Pika Rodriguez told 1010 WINS.

For those who had tickets but could not get in, including Rodriguez, refunds will be available at the point of purchase, the statement said.

There were no serious injuries, although several people were taken away in an ambulance apparently because they had been pepper sprayed, 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported.
