A cold but sun filled day awaits as temps dropped from the high of 60 degrees back down to reality in the 30s.

But a reinforcing jolt of cold air will continue to follow this first front by shepherding in even colder air.

Temps will be into the 20s by midnight, and waking up Thursday will feel like the teens for many across the area.

Skies do remain mostly clear however through Saturday.

Temps warm up nicely by then as well, back into the 50s.
