Woman, 76, Struck In Midtown Hit-And-Run

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 76-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle that kept going in the heart of Midtown Monday night.

Police told CBS2 that at 10:44 p.m., the woman was struck by a vehicle that sped off at 44th Street and Eighth Avenue.

Police were looking for a gray Ford Explorer, police said.

The victim was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital, police said.
