Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted By Stranger In Her Bronx Apartment
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The NYPD says a stranger entered a Bronx woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon.
It happened inside a building near the corner of Cruger Avenue and Maran Place in the Pelham Parkway section around 1 p.m., according to police.
Investigators say the suspect may have been wearing a mask, and ran off after the attack.
The victim wasn't sure if her door was locked or not, according to police.
She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
