FDNY: Extension Cord Sparked Deadly Fire On Upper East Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The FDNY says that an extension cord sparked the fire that left a woman dead on the Upper East Side.

Audrey Bergenstein, 86, died in the fire Friday at First Avenue and 92nd Street.

Investigators say there was a smoke alarm in the apartment, but it wasn't working.
