Kareem Abdul-Jabaar apparently caught wind of the fact that Craig was burying him earlier for refusing to talk any basketball if he were to come on the B&C program. Kareem took to Facebook to explain himself personally. Al reads the response aloud and Craig responds. Then Craig retaliates to Carl Banks' comments on yesterday's midday show in wh

Today's MOTD occurred while Craig was explaining why Kareem Abdul-Jabaar was not on the show this morning as had been anticipated. Al had a heated email exchange with Kareem's assistant, who insisted that the focus of the interview had to be solely on promoting Kareem's new book, and not about basketball.
Craig asks Boomer if he has ever sat down to watch the Super Bowl he and his Bengals lost to Joe Montana and the 49ers. Boomer says he did...once...15 years after the fact. Then Craig and Al try to set up a public viewing.
Gary in Branford calls in to ask Boomer if Eli Manning is the most improved quarterback of all-time considering his early-career struggles. Boomer talks about how Eli's career is an example that young QB's need time to season themselves. He also brings Mark Sanchez's name into the conversation, reminding Jets fans to remain patient.
The legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabaar was supposed to be on the program this morning. Craig details that he will not be, however, after Al Dukes learned about a ludicrous stipulation his assistant wanted to be enforced for the interview.
Jerry "Rello" Recco gives us his first update of the morning. Needless to say, there was plenty of recap of the Knicks win over the Wizards, in which rookie point guard Jeremy Lin lit it up once again. The Nets lost...again. And some interesting Bill Belichick audio from the Pats' sideline during the 4th quarter of Super Bowl XLVI.
Boomer and Craig kick off Thursday morning's extravaganza talking about how Jeremy Lin fever has overtaken Madison Square Garden. The Harvard-grad point guard led the Knicks to their third straight win. Then, Boomer wants to talk about an unprecedented free agency period that will soon begin in the NFL.
Before we heard today's MOTD, Craig informed us of how many people listened to Kevin Harlan and Boomer on the radio broadcast of the Super Bowl. Then MOTD featured an Omar Minaya-esque stumble job from Amani Toomer. Finally, Craig recaps the parade coverage ratings to see how he did on CBS.
Once again, we play the game show "Do You Know More Sports..." with our hot chick being the lovely Lisa Marie. Joe in West Milford provides her competition as we find out which gender will raise the championship belt in triumph.
First, the guys talk about how Flavor Flav ended up on one of the floats in the Giants' parade. Then, Jerry does an update with plenty more corny lines from the likes of Mayor Bloomberg and Steve Tisch.

Dear Craig,
Just wanted you to know Al is a great producer because he listens to the fans of your show. Thanks to Al he was brave enough to take my idea of using the OPP song for JPP. I believe Craig’s comments were” what is that song from the 80′s.” Thanks to Josh for making into JPP version , he made my day and of course my Giants. I told everybody on Friday , the Garden will be rocking on Monday, the Knicks played great and the standing ovations were numerous.
We might have to come up with a Jeremy Lin song soon.
ps Boomer tell Craig to stay out of your mail. Isn’t that a federal offense stealing someone’s mail. Just kidding great show for driving in the am.

Now that Bobby Valentine has joined up with the Red Sox, wouldn’t it be poetic justice for Boomer to organize the “Mets fans for Boston” group to offset, Carton’s, “Mets fans for Yankees”?

Stop with calling anybody a disease. If you want to get donations for your charities don’t belittle other diseases. Calling someone ‘lupus’ is in poor taste. Please give this guy a new name, Thanks

This screen keeps refreshing itself so either a difffernt message has been sent (twice?) or not. Re the meaning of “Hot Stove”. Call me at 760-863-0607 or provide me a number to call and I’ll explain it to Boomer or Carton.

Dear Craig,
I can’t stand that noise you kept repeating this morning. Please don’t ever make that sound again. It was really irritating and I had to turn off your show for the last half hour this morning.
Your loyal listener
