Steve-
It’s Denis O’Rourke. I retired from Mamaroneck in 2006. I’m an Adj Prof at Manhattanville working with new social studies teachers and writing materials for Benchmark Press. As a news junkie, I am always listening to CBS radio. One day I heard this great, sane, piece on education and I though, .”there’s somebody who actually gets it.”.(a rarity these days) Can’t tell you how thrilled I was when I realized it was you. You were always a passionate visionary…the greatest administrator I ever worked WITH. Know that you had a great impact on my career. all the best Denis O’R

Hello Dr. Kussin! When I was listening to WCBS News Radio, I was immediately transported back in time by your familiar voice. Your concise and thoughtful comments on educational issues brought me back to our time together at Lawrence High School. 17 years later, I am still in education as it seems to be in my veins. You were truly a valuable mentor, and I am thrilled to see that you are sending vital messages to each new generation of teachers and students.
