Mexicue’s Thanksgiving Sandwich was really delicious – a spicy Thanksgiving meal on a bun. Initially, we were wary of a sandwich with mashed potatoes and stuffing on a roll (among other things), but it worked out great.

The El Paso Truck hit the street recently, and we were able to stop by for a couple of tacos. For our first visit, we had to try the octopus taco for $4. To round things out, we went for a chorizo taco for $3 too.
The 5-spice fries smelled so good, we attacked them first. A small order costs $3.50 and a large order is $5.50. Our regular readers know how much we like 5-spice powder, and to put it on fries was an interesting idea.

The annual awards given out to New York City’s top food trucks, the Vendy Awards, recently announced finalists in several categories, including their choices for the Rookie of the Year. One of the nominees was Mysttik Masaala, who have only been open for a month, but are getting some well-deserved attention quickly.
