In celebration of the Mother Monster's album release this week, we're taking a look at some of Lady Gaga's favorite Big Apple digs.

If there's one thing we know about Lady Gaga, it's that you'll never be able to predict what she's going to do – or wear – next. So it wasn't much of a surprise when the Paparazzi singer didn't give the real life paparazzi much notice about her impromptu performance at the Plaza's Oak Room Bar last September. According to the New York Post, Gaga performed four songs for bargoers at the high-end hot spot  after giving the staff notice only a few hours prior to her arrival.

While you were crammed into an Upper West Side loft party at an open bar that cost you a quarter of your paycheck last New Year's Eve, Lady Gaga was in the West Village, noshing on tapas at then-newly opened Caliu. Side note: if you're ever looking for a classic NYC Sunday Funday, the casual Spanish restaurant has a great brunch deal: $25 for one brunch item and unlimited sangria, mimosas or bloody marys.

Rumor has it Lady Gaga frequented Vince & Eddie's with her parents back when her name was still Stefani Germanotta and she was growing up on the Upper East Side. Early on in the songstress' career, the eatery repaid her loyalty by doing promotions with Gaga. Last November, she invested some of her Money, Honey, in the Italian restaurant.

The singer was spotted dining at this high end Midtown haunt in early January. As the New York Post reports, her body guard sat alone at a nearby table while all the "little monsters" at the Italian eatery went – well, gaga – over the superstar's appearance.

Apparently a Lady who lunches, Gaga was seen enjoying a midday meal at this Chelsea sports bar back in September. After her visit, the restaurant sent her some love via Twitter. "Thanks @ladygaga for stopping by for lunch!! Hope you enjoyed, we'd looove to see you again!"
