The Jewish Community Center of Manhattan offers a wide array of classes in their after-school program as well as pick up service from many Upper West Side schools.  The classes utilize the vast resources of the JCC such as aquatics, dance, yoga, music and sports.  Children who use the pick-up service also participate in the Clubhouse Program, which provides homework help and structured play before and after classes until pick up time.

If you have a theater minded child who loves music, dance, theater and all things to do with performing arts, The Lucy Moses School provides a catalog full of creative after-school classes.  Private instrument lessons, a children's chorus and a musical theater class are some of the highlights of their after-school program.  Parents love to see the results during the children performances in year-end recitals and shows in the concert halls.
