The Laurie Beechman Theater will host a Tony party, featuring a special appearance by Secret Garden Tony winner Daisy Eagan. There’s no cover to watch the awards on the Beechman’s big screen, but reservations are suggested. $15 food and beverage minimum. Party began at 7.

If you’ve got the bucks to put toward an appropriate cause for the evening, The ESTA Foundation, which supports educational and charitable programs for the entertainment technology industry, is hosting a behind-the-scenes Tony benefit party at Sun West Studios with an adjoining terrace in Manhattan’s midtown west. Open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations and desserts. Tickets begin at $135.

Any number of neighborhood bars may be good for watching the awards. But MTV has a competing awards show on Sunday night so if your fave watering hole skews toward that demographic, you may have to fight for screen time. And of course if you’re in a sports bar, fuggetaboudit.If you can’t make it to Times Square or out to a pub, the Tony Awards are being broadcast live, from the Beacon Theatre from, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m.
