Chris Carrino

Chris Carrino returns for his fourth season as the radio play-by-play voice of the Nets. Before becoming the full-time radio play-by-play announcer two seasons ago, Carrino hosted the Nets radio pre, post and halftime shows. He joined the Nets full-time in 1997 as manager of broadcast operations, but has been involved with the Nets broadcasts since 1992, when he started as studio coordinator and feature reporter.

In addition to his basketball broadcasting experience, Carrino has produced radio broadcasts for both the New York Jets and New York Giants. Carrino graduated from Fordham University, where he was the voice of Fordham basketball, football and baseball. In 1992, Madison Square Garden Network named Chris “Best College Sportscaster” in the tri-state area.
