Cristina Lang recently returned to the FAN Highway Patrol during morning drive with “Boomer & Carton.” Cristina is one of New York’s most familiar and trusted traffic reporters, a fixture on local airwaves since her college years. As part of the original Metro Traffic staff, Cristina got her start on WFAN’s “Mike and the Mad Dog” in 1990. She has since worked with numerous Metro and Total Traffic Network affiliates, including a long stint on WPLJ’s “Rocky Allen Showgram.”
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Cristina broke onto the airwaves as WSOU changed college radio. In addition to traffic reporting, Cristina provides news and weather reports, has disc jockeyed at WDHA and WALK, and has worked as a local television host including a local classic, “Rascals Comedy Hour.”
Cristina is active off the airwaves, hosting events for Special Olympics NJ and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America.
A native of Maplewood, NJ, Cristina now lives in Somerset County with her husband, local TV helicopter reporter John Del Giorno, and her three children.
