Diane Macedo

Diane-Macedo-FullDiane Macedo joined CBS 2 News in March, 2014 as a news anchor and general assignment reporter.

Previously, Macedo had worked as a reporter and anchor for the Fox Business Network, most notably anchoring business news updates for the Imus in the Morning Show and reporting regularly for Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends First and Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Prior to her time at FBN, Macedo worked as a reporter and news editor for FoxNews.com covering both national and world news. She also hosted and produced the weekly video feature Food 101 and hosted the weekly video travel feature In-5.

During her almost nine years at Fox, Macedo also made regular guest appearances on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld, Huckabee, The Tom Sullivan Show and Good Day New York.

Macedo was born and raised in Mineola, NY where she graduated from Mineola High School before going on to Boston College. It was during her time at BC that she discovered her love for broadcast news while working for the community news program NewTV in Newton, Mass.

When not anchoring a newscast or chasing a new story, Macedo can often be found playing sports, cooking for friends and family, singing with her cover band Tribeca Rhythm, or setting off on a new outdoor adventure.
