A Closer Look At Broadway.
A major thrill of my life was moving from San Francisco to Manhattan in 2005. As someone said, it was like falling into a fine pot of jam.
A veteran CBS news anchor and reporter in the Bay Area, I’ve been covering the Broadway scene since arriving. And it is a gas. The moments spent backstage with actors and playwrights are treasured. I can’t wait to let the listener in on an amazing discovery: a great new play, a fantastic new talent.
I am so fortunate, so blessed to be able to share what’s happening on the world’s greatest stage: Broadway.
Prior to living in a Manhattan skyscraper (with the most unbelievable view), my resume is filled with stints at California radio stations, covering politics, disasters, and rock and roll. Along the way there have been some honors. none of which is more precious than the first place Punt, Pass and Kick award on my wall since I was eight years old.
I belong to a couple of cats, Barnum and Bailey. We love each other very much.
See you at the show!
