From a young age, Stephanie was involved in the food world with her parents running an Italian product line, and then working in restaurant kitchens up until she began her work at CBS. She spent summers travelling to Italy and Europe with her family growing up, and always loved enjoying the flavors of each region they visited.
She spent a year studying abroad in Taormina, Sicily, Italy where she really fell in love with the agriculture of Sicily as well as her adventures around the island. Stephanie identifies tremendously with her Sicilian roots and it shows in her food style. Simple, fresh, and healthy are her key concepts.
She also has weekly syndicated segments with her father, Tony Tantillo called “Stephanie and Tony’s Table” where they give an enthusiastic and fun demo on cooking. She studied writing in college, and combines her writing skills with her knowledge and love of produce.
