Tim Capstraw

tim capstraw Tim CapstrawTim Capstraw is the Brooklyn Nets’ radio color analyst. Capstraw joins play-by-play voice Chris Carrino on the team’s broadcasts, which can be heard on WFAN. In addition to his work on Nets broadcasts, Capstraw served as the analyst for NBATV’s coverage of the 2004 Euroleague regular season and Final four, The 2004 FIBA Diamond Ball Pre -Olympic tournament, the 2003 European Championships, and The 2003 Asian Championships.

Capstraw was the head coach at Wagner College for 10 seasons from 1989-1999, following four seasons as an assistant coach at Siena College.

He was a television and radio analyst for the Northeast Conference for three years prior to joining the Nets’ radio team, and was a television analyst for the Atlantic 10 Conference during the 2001-02 season. Capstraw is a 1982 graduate of Wagner College.
