Squirrels can get rabies. Its just rare. Rodents in general are rarely infected, but not immune. If you see a squirrel acting strangely stay away. Seriously, did anyone fact check these “facts”?

  • CaptAmerica

Does anybody edit this stuff? Yellow jackets are wasps, not bees.

Pearls will dissolve in vinegar, not melt. There is a significant difference.

Czechoslovakia no longer exists. Even useless facts should at a minimum be “facts”.

Useless is as useless does if you read all of these useless facts.

Cattle do the same thing as the zebras. It is the benefit of the tail keeping flies
out of the other’s face, which their individual tail cannot reach. It has nothing to
do with a so called “intellegent outlook for predators.” Get real. I raise cattle and
have seen this many, many times. Never saw any lions in North Georgia.

63000 trees every sunday is the best reason of all to shut down the NYT.

Hmm. 98% more energy. Let’s see. 100% more energy would be twice as much energy. A ceiling fan moves hot air from the ceiling (hot air rises) to other parts of the room for, say, 50 cents a day. Ergo, for a dollar a day the A/C can lower the air temperature in the whole house from 95 to 72. Heck of a deal. Or maybe the 98% is baloney.

This is not a picture of a yellow jacket – it is of a honeybee. Actually yellow jackets are not bees but they are a hornet. This kind of misinformation causes people to slap at honeybees! Honeybees are not usually aggressive to people unless someone is going into their hive.
