They change their names on the advise of their promoter i guess…in order to be more popular. Most change their names to hide their ethnicity, and some change it just to sound prettier…..And if you check some of the names above, that is understandable…….

Tina’s middle name means “this morning” in Italian! LOL!

  7. Rugbyball says:

Some need to change the name if there name is similar to a famous name already, such as Michael Keaton, who’s real name is same as a famous actor , Michael Douglas.
And some change there name because they really don’t like there name. Now I don’t know if Miley Cirrus likes or dislikes her real name, but I wouldn’t blame her with a name like Destiny Hope. I never understand parents that use hippy names for there kids, usually the kids will hate it when they get older and most will change them legally or go by a nickname.

  8. jewles says:

Maybe they do that to keep the wack jobs away!

I have the msot respect for people who use their real name like Bret Hart. There is no reason to hide behind a stage name to make yourself more popular.
