Speaking of what Mark Wolf was saying about Vickie Allen show her photo and not just that WCBS 880AM there was others did not post theirs profiles and photos like Mark Mitchell,Kathy Karpin,Tayna Hansen, and so-on. And it should be some changes on the Station websites.

  2. Mark Wolf says:

Absolutely hideous looking studio….also wondering why the only anchor on WCBS 880 radio website (Vickie Allen) does not have one photo of herself on the website….wondering what is wrong with her ? She must be afraid of something or ashamed of something…(Just wondering).

  3. Jim says:

The new studio is one of the ugliest I’ve seen in a long time. The background is far too busy, and the two white columns that frame the anchors are distracting and unnecessary. Now, when Lonnie or John sit at the left end of the desk, it looks like they are in a separate frame that has been inserted into the picture. I have to wonder if the designers even thought about how the thing would look on a television screen. The poor design has me seriously considering switching to WABC. Very bad design, and I hope it doesn’t last long.

  4. Francine Bonica says:

When the camera pulls back, the television viewer can see through the glass desk. I’m sure Kristine didn’t realize how high up her skirt was pulled.

The set is beautiful, but something should be done about the see-through glass desk.

    Re: New Studio
Did anyone look at the studio through the viewers eye (i.e. on TV) – when you have a wide shot of the the John Elliot, Rob & Mary, and Katie – it looks like they are on Hollywood Squares. The boxes behind them that actually frame them is very distracting – I am very disappointed. AND while I am at it I wonder who thought it was a great idea to have folks standing around while reporting – all the news shows are doing it now, but that doesn’t mean it looks professional.
