Police said that the black Honda Civic was heading northbound when it hit 75-year-old Arnold Slater, who was crossing from the east side to the west side of the street. They tried to rush him to St. Luke’s Hospital to save him, but he couldn’t hold on.

NYPD: Suspects Wanted For Trying To Steal iPhones

The first happened back on Oct. 25 when police say a suspect walked up to a man on 114th Street. Armed with a box cutter, police say the suspect demanded the man’s iPhone. He handed it over and the suspect took off.
