Police this weekend were asking for help from the public in finding a man who held up a bank in Murray Hill.
Police say the suspect, described as 6-foot-5 and about 300 pounds, tried to speak with the woman, then grabbed her arm, threw her on the ground a tried to rape her.
The presence of Macy’s loading dock, scaffolding, the lack of natural light and little street life were the determining factors in the Municipal Art Society’s designation for the block.
