Beastie Boy Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch To Be Honored With Brooklyn Playground

Yauch’s legacy and his Brooklyn connection will be honored by renaming Palmetto Playground on State Street, the street on which he grew up in Brooklyn Heights, the Adam Yauch Playground.

Adam Yauch, MCA Of The Beastie Boys, Dead At Age 47

Adam Yauch, also known as MCA of the Beastie Boys, passed away today after a long battle with cancer. He told fans about his condition in July of 2009 via a YouTube video.
