It wasn't immediately clear if the body was pulled from the East River was 13-year-old Kavion Brown Godfrey, who was last seen going into the water a week ago. CBS New York's Jennifer Bisram reports.
The teenager entered the river near East Sixth Street and was seen by witnesses struggling against strong currents.

It's unclear why he went in the water, but investigators said they do not believe any criminality to be involved.
