A Suffolk County woman has been charged with dumping two pit bull puppies at an animal hospital, authorities announced Sunday.
Officers found the 2 or 3-month-old Hispanic boy in a car seat on the floor of the foyer at 413 62nd Street around 2 p.m.
Safe Haven laws allow a person to drop off a baby at a hospital, police station or church but since the child was left outside, whoever is responsible could face endangerment charges.
