Sides Present Arguments Over Planned NYC Mosque

A group opposed to a planned mosque near Ground Zero has asked a judge to overturn New York City’s decision to withhold landmark status for the building site.

‘Ground Zero Mosque’ Gets New Imam

The nonprofit group Park51 announced Friday that it had named a new imam to lead religious programing. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf will focus on other initiatives.
