Andy Roddick, The Last American Man To Win A Major, To Retire After US Open

Andy Roddick said that the US Open will be the last tournament of his career. The 2003 US Open champion and former No. 1 announced his plans to retire at a news conference on Thursday, his 30th birthday.

Serena Williams Wins 5th Wimbledon Title

The 30-year-old American won her fifth Wimbledon title Saturday on Centre Court, beating Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 to claim her 14th major championship.
